Testimony

Blackened ruins, a silhouette
Against the azure sky
A witness,a testimony
To what went before.
They alone
Can tell the tale
Of destruction and desolation.
The charred wreckage
Of a building,
Bomb-blast twisted,
Torn by forces
Beyond control
Wearing mourning black
A witness, a testimony
To future generations.
